All Pixar trailers are bad. The films are subtle and profound, but marketed as nothing but slapstick comedies. Remember the Up trailer.

2010 BP nominee? Way too early to start thinking about that but assuming UP does not get nominated this year (which seems more likely every day even though it deserves it) it would be nice to give this recognition to Pixar for the movie featuring the characters that started it all, that is if the movie is good.

Would Toy Story 3 be the first sequel nominated for BP when its predecessor was not?

The only example that comes to mind is Silence of the Lambs, but that has a fairly loose connection to Manhunter and many would argue it is not a real sequel. Yeah, it is too early to know if it will be a legit contender but certainly seems like it could be a nominee with 10 slots, it is hard to say if Up will get in, it is in my predictions but I don’t think it has quite the support Wall-E did (if Wall-E came out this year I would pretty much feel it was a lock for a nom).

    AMAZING. SO EXCITED!!!

I just threw a popsicle stick at my boyfriend, who made fun of me for being excited. He thoroughly deserved it.

Spanish Buzz is a good gag, but having to convince him AGAIN that he’s not a real superhero sounds tedious, not funny. Still, I saw Toy Story 2 six times in the theater so I’ll be there.

Yeah Loyal, The Dark Knight was nominated without it’s predecessor being nominated! Oh wait…

Technically Silence of the Lambs is a sequel. Manhunter is based off the book Red Dragon, in which Silence of the Lambs follows. So yes, it counts.
