Boring. I guess the Squid and The Whale was the anomaly, not Margot at the Wedding.

Looks alright. Using LCD Soundsystem’s All My Friends renders the film a bit self-parodic.

I’ll look forward to anything Stiller does as long as it’s not a LCD comedy (or if it is, but directed by him). Zoolander is flat-out one of my favorite films, and his performance in The Royal Tenenbaums is underacknowledged, proof that with the right director, he could be brilliant.

This looks terrible. Seriously, who keeps giving this guy money to make this stuff? First, he tried to copy Wes Anderson, now he’s trying to copy the Duplass brothers. Every one of his films is like a recycled mid-life crisis with an annoying hipster soundtrack. I like Greta Gerwig, but she can do so much better…

I think it looks interesting. I like Noah’s views on life, and how he puts them on screen. They always seem so abstract. not always the greatest films, but a view unique point of view

I did not enjoy Margot at the Wedding at all, but I am a fan of Squid and the Whale.
This doesn’t really interest me. It looks like it’s trying too hard, and the soundtrack definitely reinforces that notion.

So in other words this is like “The Graduate” for the middle aged crowd done in the style of Diablo Codi’s witticisms… Hmm.
Count me, in.
