That piece on Gore’s Oscar sadly enough reads EXACTLY like a newspaper that would hire Jonah Goldberg.

Yeah, Stuhlbarg is getting hosed. Larry Gopnik and Ryan Bingham are both outwardly emotionally detached, even when their lives reach total chaos, and yet Stuhlbarg sold me on his silent pain so much more.

The most frustrating thing about this whole “Climategate” scandal is that it’s totally misrepresented:

The Gore piece is a huge embarrassment to the L.A. Times for the sole reason that Al Gore doesn’t fucking have an Oscar. Maybe I ought to be more upset about two Academy members not knowing this, but the L.A Times look like jackasses for publishing it, and doing it with a photo of him holding Davis Guggenheim’s Oscar!
Dumber than a bag of hammers.

In their defense, I think it’s possible they knew he didn’t win it and meant it in an indirect way. In any case, anything related to “Climategate” is bound to be stupid.

And if it weren’t for Al Gore they wouldn’t have the internet from which they spew their hate.
BTW Does Al Gore know that he didn’t win the Oscar?
