It’s been around for a few weeks now, but since next week is going to be pretty Cannes-heavy (the fest kicks off on Wednesday), this is as good a time as any to say that I want to buy this year’s official, Antonioni-referencing festival poster, frame it, and stick it on my living room wall. Forever. Sheer perfection.

Who’s the woman on the poster? She’s got a great figure.
Nobody to speak of — it’s meant to evoke Monica Vitti in “L’Avventura.” (Who had a pretty great figure herself, of course.)
I thought it was an actual still taken from the film and blown-up to make a poster.
I stand corrected, then. The press release rather misleadingly said it was “inspired by” the film, which I took to mean the shot was an artful restaging.
In any case, Bob, your answer is Monica Vitti.
Reminds me of Deborah Kerr also.
That poster is so awesomely beautiful! And I want her dress too!
