Could be softball fun or could be an ace up WB’s sleeve. Matt Damon looks outstanding. First time since “Moulin Rouge!” that a movie title features an exclamation point?:

This movie looks promising. I laughed more watching this trailer than on Transformers 2.

Looks interesting, but I have a feeling it could end up sucking. It could also be awesome. I’m just not sure yet. Not feeling any Oscar potential, even from Damon. If he gets a nom, it’ll be for Invictus. I don’t think they’ll give him a double nomination, though.

He gained weight for that role?
Not exactly Russel Crowe in The Insider, is it?

Better or worse than Burn After Reading? Same demo audience, I’d say.

I have to disagree with you again, Kris. Matt Damon, Best Actor list? NoWay! And there’s my exclamation point.

To be honest, it doesn’t look as funny as Burn After Reading, and I think it would be a great injustice if Brad Pitt wasn’t in the mix for his performance in that movie but Matt Damon was for this…
But considering I still haven’t seen it I can’t truly judge that, it’s just a hunch based on the trailer.

Sam Rockwell would have rocked this role.

Movie looks funny enough, but they got Matt Damon to gain weight for this? Kevin James is already fat, and he’s played this character a bunch of times.

I think it looks good, better than burn after reading and Damon looks like he is better than Pitt too. A double nomination for Damon may be a bit out of reach though maybe.

I love how, just because the film clearly has a sense of humor, people want to write it off. “Erin Brockovich” played it very broad, but still had an agenda.
This looks like a delight.

I just love watching movies that take place near me. Decatur IL is just a couple towns over from Champaign.
