Hmm, it only seemed like yesterday when I was told that there was no way Pan's Labyrinth was going to win score this year. Are you still on "The Queen" bandwagon? I'll admit, it's a very close race.

Once again, we were saying this then and I'll say it now. You were never told - not once - that there was "no way" that it would be nominated. Only that you had no basis for calling it locked and in the #1 position.

I know it's easy to distort facts but you gotta fight the temptation, b. You gotta fight it!

Ok, I wasn't told there was "no way" it would be nominated, but I was told it was "foolish" for it to be in the top spot, let alone nominated. My basis was not based on solely opinion but the fact that I felt this was the kind of the score the academy would go crazy over. It just seemed to have the themes, the mood, everything that felt like it could win. I think my reasoning of why it will win is kind of like your reasoning for Best Picture. There's something that just feels right about it. Sorry Kris, but I can't fight the temptation when I still feel it will win. It's all in good fun though. The Queen would be a worthy winner nevertheless. Take a break and have fun tonight. I think you've earned it.

The very DEFINITION of "opinion," mind you.

But yeah, like I said back then, if Pan's got the nom, it would be a threat to win. It is, after all, my backup prediction. I just feel that The Queen's Best Pic power will help it across, but I won't be surprised if Pan's wins. It would be very deserving.
