For the fifth time in his career, director Steven Spielberg has offered up a drama (“War Horse”) and an entertainment (“The Adventures of Tintin”) in the same year. But for the first time ever, he has two films in theaters at the same time. So it seems now is as good a time as any to run through a list of the “best” films of the famed director’s career.

The Producers Guild of America has chosen prolific filmmaker Steven Spielberg for its David O. Selznick Award this year. Could that feed a fire that is sure to burn for his up-coming one-two punch of “War Horse” and “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn?”
