The International Conephile Society is made up of over 80 international journalists and film professionals, and that diversity is reflected in the nominations — “A Separation” tops the list with 10 nominations.

'Descendants,' 'Drive' win big at Satellite Awards

After nominating any and everything under the sun, the International Press Academy (Satellite Awards) has tapped “The Descendants” as this year’s Best Picture of the year. The group, however, gave “Drive” a field-leading four wins, and overall, it’s a unique set of superlatives.

Toronto critics tap 'Tree of Life,' Terrence Malick

One more before you shut out the lights. The Toronto Film Critics Association has named “The Tree of Life” the best film of the year. The film’s director, Terrence Malick, was also awarded.

'The Artist' among contenders for Louis Delluc Prize

It’s not often that the Louis Delluc Prize overlaps with the Best Picture Oscar race, but Michel Hazanavicius’s “The Artist” has been shortlisted for what is arguably the most prestigious trophy in French cinema.
