The North Texas Film Critics Association has joined the crowd and named “Boyhood” the year’s best film. Richard Linklater won Best Director, while Jake Gyllenhaal and Rosamund pike took top acting honors for “Nightcrawler” and “Gone Girl” respectively.

'Gravity' wins four from North Texas film critics

The North Texas Film Critics Association has declared Alfonso CuarĂ³n’s “Gravity” the year’s best film. The space drama also received prizes for Best Director, Best Actress and Best Cinematography. Chiwetel Ejiofor (“12 Years a Slave”), Jared Leto (“Dallas Buyers Club”) and Jennifer Lawrence (“American Hustle” rounded out the acting victories.

'Lincoln' dominates North Texas film critics awards

The North Texas Film Critics Association has thrown another log on the fire for Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” the film’s second critics Best Picture prize of the season. The film also won Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Anne Hathaway (Best Supporting Actress) and Claudio Miranda (Best Cinematography) kept it from being a clean sweep. 'War Horse,' Scorsese win with North Texas critics

The North Texas Film Critics Association (yep) has gotten together to announce this year’s list of winners. And it was “War Horse” that came out of top, with Martin Scorsese winning directing honors. No were to be found “The Artist.”
