In today’s round-up, #teammargaret seems to have scored a victory as screeners of Kenneth Lonergan’s film have reportedly been sent to Academy members, Steven Zaillian talks changing the story and ending of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and Baz Luhrmann got a boo-boo on the set of “The Great Gatsby.”

Meryl Streep is good-to-great in meh-to-good 'Iron Lady'

Phyllida Lloyd’s “The Iron Lady” shares a lot in common with Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar.” They portray conservative figures in political history with broad strokes despite attempting to flesh them out as nuanced characters. But mostly, they serve as hindrances to performances that could have won Oscars in a cake-walk.
