In the wake of the recent Sony hack, media outlets published stolen private information willy-nilly, recalling the scavenger-like behavior of the news gatherers depicted in Dan Gilroy’s film “Nightcrawler.” Gilory, a former Variety reporter, had plenty of thoughts on that when he spoke to HitFix recently.
