Winners have been unveiled for the 2015 Final Draft Screenwriters’ Choice Awards (basically voted on by anyone who — legally — owns Final Draft). “Birdman” and “Gone Girl” came out on top in the film categories, while “True Detective” and “The Big Bang Theory” were the TV winners.

'Breaking Bad,' 'Game of Thrones' receive PGA nods, as 'Mad Men' misses

“Breaking Bad,” “Game of Thrones” and last year’s winners “Homeland” and “Modern Family” were among the TV series nominated today by the Producers’ Guild of America, while “Mad Men” missed the cut for the first time.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) couldn’t make up its collective mind in a number of key races at tonight’s BTJA Critics’ Choice Television Awards. Three categories ended in ties, two of them major categories of Best Drama Series (which went to “Breaking Bad” and “Game of Thrones”) and Best Reality Series (which went to “Push Girls” and — dear lord — “Duck Dynasty”).

'American Horror Story,' 'Big Bang Theory' lead Broadcast TV Journalists Association nominees

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced today its list of nominees for TV programming. CBS series “The Big Bang Theory” and FX’s mini-series “American Horror Story: Asylum” led the way with six nominations apiece. On the drama side, FX’s “The Americans,” AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and CBS’s “The Good Wife” led with four nods each.
